Andrews WILLIAM ARAB SUMMERS William A. Summers, 92, a resident of Okmulgee died Friday, October 13, 2000 in Okmulgee, OK. Mr.Summers was born Tuesday, September 29, 1908 in Arvella, West Virginia to Joe and Florence ( Hotte) Summers, He served in the United States Navy and was retired from A.S.G. , Mr. Summers also enjoyed fishing and was a member of the United Brotheran Church in Point Lookout, W.VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Loma Summers; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include: one son, Ronald E. Summers and wife Linda of Okmulgee, OK: one daughter, Vera Ronyek of Belmont, W. VA: one brother, Charles Summers of Clarksburg, W.VA. : five sisters, Betty Campbell of Paden City, W.VA., June Potts of Paden City, W. VA. Violet Cline of Paden, W.VA., Zelma Grove of Arvella, W. Va., Twilla Hanlin of Bens Run, W.VA.: one grandson Rodney Summers of Okmulgee; and two great grandchildren, Camerron and Kristan Summers of Morris, Oklahoma; and three other grandchildren, one other great -grandchild and one great great grandchild. Graveside Funeral services for Mr. Summers will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2000 in the Okmulgee Cemetery with the Rev. Dal Newberry officiating under the direction of the Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Friends, and Family may visit the funeral home on Sunday, October 15, 2000 between 1:00 p.m. and 6: p.m. and Monday, October 16, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30.
