Violet Terry

ATHENS - Violet Terry 86, died Sunday, June 5, 2005.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in White Deer Cemetery 
in White Deer with the Rev. Allen Wilson officiating. Arrangements 
are by Lloyd James Funeral Home of Tyler.

Mrs. Terry was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Okmulgee, Okla., to the late 
Robert McClellan and Bernice Nelson Smith. She formally lived in 
Spring Creek before moving to Athens. She was a homemaker and a 
Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Foye Terry.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Hicks and husband, Ralf, of 
Emerald Bay and Linda Clark of Spring; three grandchildren, Gregg 
Hicks of Fort Wayne, Ind., Stephanie Richey of Louisville, Tenn., and 
Shelby Clark of Spring; and three great-grandchildren.
