Claudia Jo Trappman, a resident of Council Hill and Hitchita area was born April 21, 1952 

in Hernyetta, Oklahoma to Mary and Joe Sparks.  She passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 

at her home in Council Hill, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years 3 months and 20 days.  

She was married to Joe Trappman on January 28, 1972 in Douglas, Arizona .  

Claudia grew up in the Hitchita/Council Hill area and graduated Highschool at Council Hill.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Claudia is survived by her husband,  Joe Trappman, of the home; son, Kevin Trappman, Council Hill;

daughter, Carrie Trappman, Council Hill; 4 grandchildren, Draydon Nixon, Raven Nixon,  Riley Trappman,  

and Whitney Trappman, sister, Debbie Crosby & husband Gary, Hitchita; 

brother, Terry Sparks, Hitchita; Mother & Father,  Mary & Joe Sparks, Hitchita; 

as well as a host of other relatives & friends. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Patton, Joe Adair, 

Jamie Crosby, Jimmy Hamm, Harley Hamm, Kevin Goad, Honorary Pallbearers, Jerry Simms, Chad Crosby, 

John Wayne Carson, Lawrence McCullah, Clint Patton, and Steve Goad.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 11:00 am at Hitchita Freewill Baptist Church 

officiated by Rev. Maxy Adair and Rev. Wayne Patton. Burial will be at Lackey Cemetery under 

the direction of Shurden Funeral Home
