Betty Sue Bullard Wallis, a resident of Dewar was born March 7, 1945 in Elk City, 

Oklahoma to Annie and Audie Nuckolls.  She passed away June 24, 2006 at Henryetta, 

Oklahoma at the age of 61 years 3 months and 17 days.  She retired as a Certified 

Medical Assistant, working many years at Fountain View Manor Nursing Home.  

She was a member of Bald Hill Community Church. She is survived by 4 Children; 

Vicky Palmer, Dewar;  Nancy Wadley & husband Doug, Henryetta;  Robert Bullard, Dewar

Mary Lee & husband Spencer, Dewar ;Stepson,  Isaac Bullard, Weleetka;  8 grandchildren, 

2 great grandchildren;  3 sisters,  Flossie Cummings, Henryetta;  Viola Parks & 

husband Henry, Bixby;  Christene Tamplen & husband Ralph, Schulter;  2 Brothers,  

Eugene Arnold & wife Lena, Springdale, Arkansas; Lee Nuckolls & wife Julie, Henryetta

2 sisters in law,  Patsy Nuckolls, Henryetta;Doris Dillard, Henryetta;  As well as a 

host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.  Pallbearers will be: 

Daniel Tamplen, Ralph W. Tamplen, Melford Nuckolls, Jacob Palmer, John Palmer, & Brent Palmer.  

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dale Nuckolls & Roger Nuckolls.  Funeral Services 

will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 2:00 pm at The First Baptist Church in Dewar, 

officiated by Rev. Roger Bowman and Rev. Jack Vance.   Burial will be at Salem Cemetery

 under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
