She was born to T.V. & Willie Griffith on Nov. 1, 1927 in Eram, Oklahoma. She grew up in Okmulgee with her 11 brothers & sisters. In 1943 she moved to OKC and attended Shields Blvd. Church and worked at Ward Bros. Inc. She and her husband Allen Ward (owner of Ward Bros. Inc.) were active in First Bapt. Church of Moore and India Temple Shrine Mounted Patrol. Frances became a Christian at age 9. At the time of her death she attended Southpark Bapt. Church where she had been active in GA's and had many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen F. Ward. She leaves behind: daughters, Jean Heasley & husband Harold and Ellen Webster; 3 grandchildren: Phillip, Chris and Sara Jean Heasley; 2 sisters: LaVaughn Suttles & Helen Martin; brother, Ralph Griffith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary/ South Colonial Chapel. VONDEL L. SMITH & SON MORTUARY 6934 S.
