All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Brookside Cemetery--Houston TX Amarillo Globe News 16 Feb 1999 Lillie Ellen Woodward Lillie Ellen Woodward, 98, of Amarillo, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Brookside Cemetery in Houston with the Rev. J.F. Selcraig, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Woodward was born in Johnson County, Ark., and had lived in Amarillo for 11/2 years. She previously lived in Tulsa, Okla., Houston, Colorado City, Overton and Texarkana. She was a homemaker and active in the Baptist church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She married David Edwin Woodward in 1918 at Okmulgee, Okla. He died in 1986. Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Woodward Jones of Amarillo, Dorothy W. Larrabee of Tulsa, Norma M. Thomas of Overton and Marjorie Gramza of Molalla, Ore.; a son, James David Woodward of Houston; a sister, Laverne Radcliff of Nowata, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great- grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Windflower Unit, Craig Methodist Retirement Community, 5500 W.
