Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Frank Pittman and Willie Tolison officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Allen was born in Wilson, Okla. He had lived in the Spearman area for 68 years, moving from St. Louis, Okla. He was a farmer before retiring in 1987. He served with the Navy as a radarman during World War II. He attended Panhandle A&M University. He served on the Hansford County ASCS Election Board and the Perryton Equity Board. Mr. Allen married Dickie Kiker Robinson in 1972 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lynn Riley of Perryton and Diana Parker of Amarillo; a son, Skipper Robinson of Austin; two sisters, Maxine Vernon of Springville, Calif., and Norma Jo Peargin of Pismo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 Roland, Spearman, Texas 79081.
