Mary Ellen Andrews

Mary Ellen Andrews, 96, of Amarillo died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in 
Lubbock.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with Coy 
Wylie, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are 
by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Andrews came to Amarillo in 1910 by covered wagon from Oklahoma. She 
was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.B. "Blackie" Andrews in 1966; 
by a son, C.H. "Andy" Andrews in 1999; and by a daughter, Jaquetti Gore in 
1970.

Survivors include a son, Charles Andrews of Las Cruces, N.M.; nine 
grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
