All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== EZRA ARMSTRONG Published on September 6, 2003 The Santa Rosa Press Democratt Family and friends will gather today to remember Ezra Armstrong, who died Wednesday, two weeks before celebrating his 62nd wedding anniversary. Armstrong, 83, was born and raised in Oklahoma. He was educated in Oklahoma, but came west at 24, settling in Sonoma County, where he lived for 45 years. He spent the past 14 years living in Lake County. He worked as a mechanic in the Sebastopol area for 41 years, until 1999. He was married Sept. 15, 1941, to Parelee Armstrong. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Lonnie Armstrong; daughter Wyvonne Williams; daughter Cherri Hold; three sisters, Lora Hampton, Oma Skaggs and Dora Bullard; eight grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 1700 Pleasant Hill Road, Sebastopol.
