Allison, age 85, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Paradise, California. She was born January 16, 1922 in Oklahoma. Marge was an energetic and hard working woman. She lived life to the fullest. During WWII, Marge was employed as a welder on Navy ships in San Diego, California. She worked as a cosmetologist for 20 years, owning her own beauty salons in Salinas and Palm Springs, California. She was a real estate broker/agent as well as owning an antique store during her 20 years living in Grants Pass, Oregon. She also was a Casino dealer in Nevada and later lived in Ketchikan, Alaska before settling in Paradise to be near her daughters. Marge's energy and zest for life was shown through her love of hunting elk, moose and deer, as well as, salmon fishing. In the winter months, she kept herself busy with oil painting and quilting. Marjorie was preceeded in death by husbands, Leroy Liles, Bill Blake and Ron Allison. She is survived by her three children, Lavenia Riotto of Paradise, Duayne Jefferies of Roseburg, OR, Billie Liles of Redding and her 99 year old former husband, E.H. Jefferies of Grants Pass, OR., 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
