Mr. Bandy was a native of Oklahoma, and lived in Modesto 40 years. He was an inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Calvary Temple Worship Center, and enjoyed fishing, sports and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Pam Bandy of Modesto; children, Christopher Bandy and Robert Bandy, both of Long Beach; stepchildren, Tamara Hackett, Kristie Leus and Jerry Anderson, all of Modesto; stepmother, Ima Bandy of Oklahoma; brothers, Don Bandy of Oakdale and Harley Bandy of Houston; stepbrother, Gary Cozens of Oklahoma; sisters, Nadine Middleton of Citrus Heights, Wanda Francek, Fran Levesey and Jan Simmons, all of Modesto, and Gwen Jackson and Joyce Williams, both of Oklahoma; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Bandy and Vada Jackson; one brother and one sister. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson.
