Dad came to California in 1941 and worked for Diablo & Fred Frick Farms in Arvin. He is survived by Linda Beard, Gale & Phillip Peterson; and Lovell, Jr. & Barbara. He had ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Siblings are Virgil, Buddy, Gladys and Jewell. His wife, Mattie Irene Beard preceded him in death in 1999. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane.
