All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Tucson Citizen, Tucson AZ Una Webb Bradley A resident of Phoenix since 1918, died on January 25, 2005 in Tucson where she moved a little over a year ago. She was born in Christiana, Jamaica on March 2, 1907. Her parents immigrated to the United States in 1911 and after a brief stay in Oklahoma, bought farm land in Phoenix at 24th street and McDowell which remained in the family until the property was sold in the 1960's. She attended Creighton Elementary School and Phoenix Union High School. She graduated in 1928 from what was then Tempe Normal, later Arizona State University. She Married G.A. (Jack) Bradley in 1930. She taught school in the Wilson District until the depression made a two job family impossible. In 1948, after completing a fourth year of education at ASU, she returned to Wilson District where she taught without interruption until 1972. After retirement she served as a volunteer at the reception desk at St. Luke's Hospital for over 25 years. She continued to travel extensively until she was 95 years old and remained active in her church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she will be sorely missed by all her family. She is survived by her son, Grady A. Bradley; grandsons, Jack and Brian Bradley, all of Tucson; her daughter, Carolyn Davis of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and four grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.
