Brown, Frances Marie (Davis)

Frances Marie (Davis) Brown Mar. 29, 1906 - Oct. 14, 2006 Doughty-
Calhoun-O'Meara Funeral Directors Services: Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 
1:00 p.m. Frances Marie (Davis) Brown, born March 29, 1906 in 
Oklahoma, died October 14, 2006 in Bakersfield. She was the daughter 
of Walter Frank and Eva Davis. Frances enjoyed 60 years as a 
cosmetologist, rock hunter and lapidiarist. She was a member of 
Bakersfield Community House and a founding member of Bakersfield 
Racquet Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, 
Harold, John and Patti. She is survived by her daughter, Eva Louise 
Snow of Santa Barbara. Graveside services will be held Friday, 
October 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery.
