Cooper Resident of Richmond Loveta H. Cooper, the world's greatest mother, passed away in Pinole on Feb. 2nd at the age of 82. She was a Richmond resident for 38 years. She leaves behind son Fred, son, Russ and his wife Kay. Other survivors include nieces Lyla M. Moore, Margaret Ann Hudson; several other nieces and nephews. Her loving husband of 54 years, John F. Sr., predeceased her in Oct. 2006. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she ventured to California in the 1940's. She met her late husband in the old Ali Baba ballroom in Oakland, thus becoming the wife of a military man. Before settling in Richmond, she saw many states and Germany, France and Mexico abroad. In addition to being wife, mother and homemaker, she was, at various times employed as a clerk, secretary, and teacher's aid. She cherised her family and friends. One of her interests included going to Brentwood to pick fruit--then making jam out of the proceeds. She had a great fondness for birds of all varieties but especially for penguins. She also enjoy crosswords, gardening, the Giants, Hummels, PEANUTS, Russian-style egg painting, and travel. She was a member of First Baptist Church/Waypointe in Richmond. NO SERVICES.
