All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Cisero Collier Services: Sat., Oct. 13, 11 a.m. Viewing and visitation will start Friday, October 12, 2001 at 10 a.m. with an hour of meditation to be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Ruckers Mortuary for Cisero Collier, 88, who passed away in Bakersfield, California. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 1218 East Belle Terrace. Pastor John Turner is officiating with interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Cisero Collier, the eldest son born to Joseph and Fannie Collier, January 17, 1913, in Timberhill, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord October 8, 2001. He is preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother. He leaves to carry on his legacy, his devoted wife, Catherine Collier of Bakersfield, CA; a son, Bernard Collier and wife Rosie; a daughter, Yvonne Turner and her husband Rev. John Turner, all of Bakersfield, CA; a brother, Eugene Collier and wife Eva Mae of Boswell, OK; stepson, Dewayne Griffin of Bakersfield, CA; stepdaughter, Bertha Lee Crockrell, husband James Crockrell of Chicago, ILL; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; six special brothers and sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
