She was born August 21, 1913 and raised in Oklahoma. She was married to Verdon Dalton in May 1930. Her husband Verdon used to be a supervising steam pipe fitter and was working for oil refineries which made them travel all over continental U.S. It was summer of 1980 when they moved to California from Denver, Colorado, where they used to live at that time. Her husband died in 1982. They have two (2) children, H. Edward and Robert Glenn who lives in Washington State with his family. Clara had a deep passion for visiting friends and watching TV, but foremost among those was her love for her Savior and His church. Her family and friends do miss her a lot. Her church family at Westside do miss her too but with the assurance that one day we will see her in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:3). Friends and relatives of the Dalton family are all invited to share in the memorial service for Clara on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Westside Baptist Church located at 1515 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda.
