Mary Etta Dowling

Mary Etta Dowling, 91, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 19, 1997.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Quail Creek Congregation Jehovah's 
Witnesses with Doug Dickman, a Jehovah's Witnesses elder of Dumas, 
officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Dumas Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia 
Circle.

Mrs. Dowling was born in Oklahoma Territory. She had lived in Dumas from 
1937 until 10 years ago, when she moved to Amarillo. She was a member of 
Jehovah's Witnesses since 1937. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bennett Dowling, in 1987.

Survivors include five sons, Lee Dowling, Rex Dowling and Ira Dowling, all 
of Amarillo, Kenneth Dowling of Georgetown, Colo., and Jim Dowling of 
Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Otheda Kinnikin of Dallas, and Kathryn 
Warren of Cassville, Mo.; a sister, Francis Montgomery of Oklahoma City; 
25 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-
grandchildren.

The family will be at 108 Ramada Trail.
