All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Fresno Memorial Gardens--Fresno CA Evans, Wanda Lavoun WANDA LAVOUN EVANS Wanda Lavoun Evans, a Fresno resident, was born in Oklahoma on July 31, 1927, and left this earth on Thursday, December 28, 2006. Pneumonia was the cause of her death. Our mom was the queen of yard sales. Every Saturday brought the weekly yard sale outing for mom and dad. She was a great cook, seamstress and gardener, who also loved to travel and fish. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She was always there for everyone. Mom loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She played games with them, taught them to cook and sew and read to them. She was a guardian angel to all people, especially the ill. She was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil and Roy Collins; and stepson, Ronnie Evans. Wanda is survived by her husband, Rondald Evans; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Sharon Williams; daughters and sons-in-law, Lavoun and Frank Augugliaro and Patricia and Al Price; daughter, Connie Evans; and daughter-in-law, Anne Evans. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., with a burial to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
