All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Gertrude Foster CLOVIS, N.M. - Gertrude Foster, 96, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. (CST) today in Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church at Farwell, Texas, with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, Condy Billingsly and the Rev. Beth Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Terrace at Farwell by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Foster was born in Arkansas. She was married to Willie N. Foster for 75 years. They moved to the Oklahoma Lane community from Oklahoma, where they farmed and raised their family. In 1952, they retired and moved to Farwell. Mr. Foster died in 1996. Mrs. Foster was a member of Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Ernestene Feagan of Mission, Kan., Barbara Whitmore of Pleasant Hill and Marcia Bell of Clovis; two sons, B.J.
