All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Amarillo Globe News 5 April 1998 Foulkes, Marie ORLANDO, Fla. - Marie Foulkes, 74, a former Clovis resident, died Friday, March 27, 1998. Memorial services will be at noon Monday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Herbert Bergstrom officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery. Mrs. Foulkes was born in Oklahoma and raised in Ranchvale. She moved to Clovis after her 1941 marriage to Harvey H. Hall. He died in 1951. She later married W.C. Foulkes and moved to Long Island, N.Y., in 1957. They divorced in 1965. She retired to the Orlando area in 1985 after the 1983 death of her companion, Gene Horton. Survivors include nine children, Ken Hall of Montgomery, Ala., Russell "Butch" Hall of Brookfied, Conn., Dennis Hall of Vale, Ore., Randy Hall of Salinas, Calif., Velma "Susie" Roth of Flanders, N.Y., Bill Foulkes and Cheryl Foulkes, both of Oviedo, Ralph Foulkes of Riverhead, N.Y., and Jon Foulkes of Calverton, N.Y.; her mother, Stella Barrow of Clovis; two sisters, Nina Barrow of Clovis and Janie Kilpatrick of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Burnis and Ben, both of Clovis, and Leo of Tuscon, Ariz.; a special friend, Patty Hall of Brookfield; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Unknown County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/okstate.html
