Now , the Lord has picked her up and hugged her, as he welcomed her home where she continues to watch and care for us here on earth. Betty was born on November 5, 1923 in Oklahoma. She made the City of Montclair, CA her residence for the past 52 years. She resided there with her husband Merle Folmer (deceased) and her two children, DeWayne Folmer and Pamela Folmer Martin. Betty loved all colors of life. First, and foremost, she dedicated her life to God as a member of the Montclair Methodist Church. She lov ed family gatherings, especially spending time with her five grandchildren (Gary and wife Heather Folmer of Fernley, NV; Michelle Folmer of Irvine, CA; Christine Folmer of Mira Loma, CA; Christopher Martin of Ontario, CA; and Cameron Martin of Ontario, CA). Betty worked for the City of Montclair for the past 48 years, where she dedicated most of her time as the Mini School Coordinator. There, she was known best as "Miss Betty" to all of the young minds that she developed as an educator over the years. Betty didn't retire until June of 2005, at the age of 81, as she would miss the children too much. No matter how small the children were, their hugs were larger than life! Betty also loved to travel, and spend time with her best friends and companions, both in the M&M Club through church, and at the Montclair Senior Center on a weekly basis. Know that Betty is with you always as she sends great big hugs from Heaven above. She is home now. Arrangements by Draper Mortuary, 811 N.
