Hitchcock Passed on November 4, 2005. She was bon July 24, 1909. She arrived in Tucson in 1929 with her husband, Clayburn Hitchcock from Oklahoma. She had three sons, Clayburn, Virgil and Jack Hitchcock. Her career was a telephone operator and retired from Tucson Newspapers. She also rode horses in a western movie as a stand in for Barbara Stanwyck in the movie The Furies.
