He was 63. His wife, Yvonne Huddleston of Santa Rosa, said he had an aneurysm. Friday would have been his 64th birthday. He had lived in Santa Rosa for the past 26 years, and retired from the bus company five years ago. He worked for the Greyhound Bus Co. before Golden Gate Transit. When Huddleston was a bus driver, he often drove the morning and evening Santa Rosa-San Francisco commute route. On his break time, he loved to take long walks in San Francisco, where he grew up, his wife said. He liked to spend time with his children and grandchildren. "He said he was born too late because this world was just too fast," Yvonne Huddleston said. For the past two years, he worked as a part-time parking attendant at various Santa Rosa city lots. He was a native of Oklahoma whose family later moved to San Francisco. He was a graduate of Polytechnic High School in San Francisco. He was a member of ATU Union, SIRS and American Association of Retired Persons. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Katherine Chilton and Sharon Keeling of Santa Rosa; one son, Jason Huddleston of Santa Rosa; one brother, James Huddleston of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Jane Cobb of Texas and Evelyne Johnson of Southern California; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa.
