Hilliard LOGAN, N.M. - Ada L. Hilliard, 85, of Tucumcari, a former Logan resident, died Sunday, June 15, 1997. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Logan Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Pearce, minister of Logan Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Mrs. Hilliard was born in Oklahoma. She and her husband lived in several towns in New Mexico. They lived in Roy for 10 years and owned and operated Hilliard's Cafe. They then moved to Logan and lived there for 23 years. They had lived in Tucumcari for the past 11 months. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Hilliard was preceded in death by three daughters, Bobbie Pendleton in 1988, Ola Mae Abernathy in 1975 and Barbara Moore in 1989. Survivors include her husband; a brother, Ted Anderson of Edmund, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren.
