Honea, Lorene

Lorene Honea Mar. 3, 1924 - May 18, 2006 Lorene was born in Oklahoma 
March 3, 1924 and went to be with the Lord May 18, 2006 in 
Bakersfield. Lorene was a vibrant soul with a zest for life. Her 
smile was contagious and her laughter filled with joy. She loved 
animals and spent much of her time caring for her four dogs, Whitie, 
Ginger, Sissy and Peewee. She loved God with all her heart and is in 
Heaven rejoicing with her Lord and loved ones that went on before 
her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene. She is survived 
by her two sons and their spouses, Ronald & Sandra Honea, Randall & 
Minda Honea, Grandson Brian Honea & wife Lori, Granddaughters Lisa 
Hulse & husband Tim, Meredith Iturriria & husband Johnny, Megan 
Garant & husband Justin, Great-grandchildren Samantha & Jacob Hulse, 
Kaylee & Justin Honea, and Brooklyn & Jackson Garant, Brother Odell 
Pace & wife Betty, Daughter-in-Law Carole Honea, and numerous nieces 
and nephews. Services will be Sunday, May 21, 2006, at 4:30 p.m., 
Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel.
