Hardin July 11, 1922-July 19, 2001 Graveside services will be held at Hontubby Community Cemetery in Heavener, Oklahoma, Friday, July 27 at 10 a.m. for Fred G. Hardin, who was born in , Oklahoma on July 11, 1922. He has been a resident of Bakersfield for 50 years. Fred was a WWII veteran serving with the Army in China, Burma, India in the Theatre War. When he returned from the war he soon married his now wife Wanda Hardin. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 50 years enjoying every day that he was there, until retiring from the company. Fred is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wanda Hardin; brothers, Ed, Marvin and Dean; sister, Imogene; sons, John, Gary, Bruce and Kevin; daughter, Sharon Hardin; grandchildren, Natalie, Joshua, and Brandon Hardin and great grandchild, Christopher Lovitt.
