HADDOCK, JAMES A. - Passed away October 29, 2006 peacefully at home after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease in Santa Rosa at the age of 68. James was born in Oklahoma, graduated from Analy High School, and has been a Sonoma County resident for the past 56 years. James was the Vice President of Windsor Mill up until the time of his retirement. He was a machinist by trade and loved to work in his shop. Throughout his life he mentored many people in his trade. James was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Haddock, step-father, Floyd Watkins, and son-in-law, Bob Walker. He is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Haddock and Rhonda Walker; 4 grandchildren, Natalie (John) Gordon, Spencer Wilson, Johnathan Geurts and Alicia Geurts; great-grandson, James Wyatt Gordon; mother, Wilena Watkins; 3 sisters, Jane Canchola, Dorothy Lee, and Doris (Robert) Colwell; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and friend and caregiver Maahke. A Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 12:00 - 2:00 with funeral services starting at 2:00 at Pleasant Hills Memorial Park, 1700 Pleasant Hill Rd., Sebastopol. Donations may be made in his name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, NY, NY, 10163.
