Immel, 87, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in Humble. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Love in Westlawn Memorial Park on Borger. Mrs. Immel was born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma, and had lived in Borger for more than 70 years. Until the early 1980s, she and her husband owned Doneta's Coin-Operated Laundry. She married James Walter Immel in 1926 at Oklahoma. Preceding her in death were her husband and a daughter, Dora Thompson, both in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Pearl Adams of Fritch and Nora Osborne of Houston; a brother, Elmer Davis of Houston; a sister, Elsie Trostle of Houston; 11 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
