Ada V. Jones 
Services: Thurs., Nov. 29, 10 a.m. 

Services are being held Thursday, Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. in Ambassadors For 
Christ Ministries, 5650 District Bl. #109 for Ada Jones, 70, who passed 
away Nov. 21. Bishop Garvin Prithett will officiate with interment to 
follow in Union Cemetery. Ada was a native of Oklahoma but had resided in 
Bakersfield for many years. Ada leaves behind to cherish her memory; 
husband of 19 years, Cleveland Jones; 4 children and their spouses, Toni 
and Richard Ross, Barry Logan, Stephen and Carlene Logan, and Lita and 
Anthony Williams, all of Bakersfield, CA; 1 brother, Alvis Banks of 
Fresno, CA; 9 grandchidlren, Brianna, Camille, Christopher, Adree, 
LaShauna, Samantha, Maurice, Anthony Jr., and Chrissy; 7 great 
grandchildren, Elmetrius, Myiah, Damarcus Jr., Wyman, Stepheni, Kenny and 
Faith; a special friend mother Joseie Mister along with a host of 
relatives and friends, in which she loved and enjoyed very much. 
Visitation will be today from 12-7 p.m. with a meditation hour from 7-8 
p.m. in Jesse E. Cooley Chapel. Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Service
