Betty Johnson

Betty Johnson, 64, of Amarillo, died Thursday Oct. 8, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum 
with the Rev. Ronnie Tucker of Friendship Baptist Church officiating. 
Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Oklahoma and moved to Amarillo in 1938. She 
retired 10 years ago after 40 years as a waitress. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Johnson, in 1974.

Survivors include three sons, Don Powell of Amarillo, Dale Johnson of 
Dallas and Harry Johnson in California with the Marines; three daughters, 
Mary Armstrong, Sherry Dennison and Betty Himes, all of Amarillo; a 
brother, Bill Loflin of Amarillo; a sister, Ella Jane Gabbert of Tulsa; 
and 14 grandchildren.

The family will be at 919 Foxglove.
