Francis Liles

Francis Liles, 85, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel 
of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Robert Field of 
Southeast Baptist Church and the Rev. Windell Taylor, chaplain at the 
Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, officiating. Burial will be 
in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Liles was born in Roundup, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 1955 from 
Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of Southeast Baptist Church.

She married Loyd Liles in 1928 at Wichita Falls. He died in 1990.

Survivors include four sons, Jack Liles, Harold Liles, Clyde Liles and 
Kenneth Liles, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Wanda Startz of Amarillo and 
Melba Rae Schmidth of Carnegie, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
