Lands McLEAN - Sidney F. "Sid'' Lands, 71, died Thursday, June 19, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery by Lamb Funeral Home. Mr. Lands was born in Four Acre, Okla. He moved to McLean from Midkiff in 1957. He then moved to Goldsmith and returned to McLean in 1986. He retired as superintendent at El Paso Natural Gas Co. after 42 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and McLean Masonic Lodge No. 889. Mr. Lands married Doris Thomas in 1949 at Hobbs, N.M.
