Meglasson, 58, passed away on September 19, 2002, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 2, 1943, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Nello and Olive Lenzini. She married the love of her life, E.G. 'Sonny' Meglasson, September 11, 1971. Bea was preceded in death by both her husband and parents. She graduated from Colorado State College in Greeley, Colorado and taught elementary school for 34 years. She spent 19 of those years at Santa Fe Elementary in Moore. The children she taught and faculty members she worked with were a treasured part of her life. She was a most beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and will be greatly missed by all. Her reputation as the 'hostess with the mostest' says it all. Bea was the most caring, generous person anyone could ever hope to know and love. A large family of close friends who loved and supported her are a testament to that. She is survived by her son, Tom Meglasson (Theresa) and grandchildren, Shannon, Christie and Thomas of Colleyville, Texas. Bea is also survived by her sisters, JoAnn Abel (Bill) of Pueblo, Colorado, Frances Perez (Rudy) of San Diego, California; and her brother, Paul Lenzini (Lucia) of Denver, Colorado. 'Auntie Bea' will be missed by nieces and nephews, Karen (Ron Gallina), Kathy Abel, Cindy Cano, David Perez, Paul Lenzini, John Lenzini and Leticia Lenzini and David Weisz. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2002, at 10:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church in Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County, 4334 NW Expressway, Suite 106, OKC, OK 73116. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
