Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Elida United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donna Kay Jackson and Ronald Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Elida Cemetery by Wheeler Mortuary of Portales. Mrs. Miller was born in Weinert, Texas, and spent most of her early life in Oklahoma. She moved with her family to Ralls, Texas, when she was a teen-ager. After her marriage, Mrs. Miller lived in Oklahoma and then moved to Littlefield. They moved to Elida in 1931 and then relocated to a ranch south of Elida where they lived until 1983 when they moved to Portales. Mrs. Miller was active in the Elida Senior Citizens and square dancing groups. She was in numerous fairs and exhibitions where she danced on foot and horseback. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Elida. She married Joe Miller in 1925 at Ralls. He preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include a brother, Olen Perryman of Lubbock, Texas; and two sisters, Irma Pepper of Estelline, Texas, and Gladys Swim of Ralls.
