M. - Dora Morgan, 100, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Dunn Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Witcher, minister of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home. Mrs. Morgan was born on the Cheyenne-Arapahoe Indian Reservation in Oklahoma Territory and had been a resident of Tucumcari since 1905, where she attended school, graduating from Tucumcari High School in 1917. She was a secretary, and served on the Tucumcari Library Board for 25 years, many of which were as chair person. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Morgan, in 1974. Survivors include a sister, Georgia McCarty of Santa Fe, N. M.; three nephews; and a niece. The body will be at the funeral home from this morning until time for the services on Monday but will not be available for viewing.
