All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rule Cemetery--Rule TX Norman, Rubye Faye Doyle 1916 - 2005 Rubye Faye Doyle Norman, 89, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Rule, with the Rev. Josh Stowe and John Greeson officiating. Burial: Rule Cemetery. Memorials: The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations may be made to the residents of the James L. West Alzheimer's Center, to brighten their homes, 1111 Summit Ave., Fort Worth 76102; or in thanksgiving for the life of Rubye Faye Norman as mother and educator, donations may be made to the Graig Norman Scholarship Fund, in care of Rule Banking Center, Rule 79547. Rubye Faye Doyle Norman was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Swenson and spent most of her childhood in Oklahoma. She married Lee Weldon Norman in 1939 and lived in Rule for the remainder of her life. She taught school in Haskell and Stonewall counties for more than 20 years in the Mattson and Old Glory Communities. A longtime resident of Rule, she was an avid bridge player and a renowned cook. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Norman; and her parents, Katie and Warren Doyle. Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Lee Weldon Norman of Rule; son, James Lee Norman and wife, Marty of Fort Worth; grandsons, James Lee Norman Jr. and wife, Holly of Austin, and Darin McReynolds Norman and wife, Blythe of Fort Worth; and three great-grandchildren.
