"Pat" Patton, 71, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Harlan Resch officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Patton was born in Routh, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for most of his life. He retired from Culligan. He was a private pilot and a veteran of the Air Force. He was a member of the Amarillo Executive Association and the Barbershoppers "Pioneers" and a charter member of the Lake Meredith Club. He was Baptist. He married Melba Stewart in 1985 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Patton. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Paula Patton of Houston; a son, Ronnie Patton of Charleston, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Melody Lee and Carol Klause, both of Amarillo; his mother, Dovie Ferguson of Ada, Okla.; a sister, Donna Welch of Atoka, Okla.; and several grandchildren. The family will be at 4707 Mesa.
