Velda Phillips

LAS VEGAS - Velda Phillips, 71, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Hansford Cemetery in 
Spearman, Texas, with the Rev. Joseph Weaks officiating. Arrangements are 
by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Oklahoma. She had lived in Las Vegas for 
13 years, moving from Connecticut. She was a registered nurse and a member 
of Central Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mansel Phillips; and a son, Leslie Phillips 
of Massachusetts.
