All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Moore Memorial Gardens--Arlington TX Paramore, John Ray "Johnnie" 1914 - 2005 John "Johnnie" Ray Paramore, 90, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Johnnie was an independent auto repair owner in Oklahoma and an auto parts dealer in Grand Prairie. His business was interrupted by World War II, while he served in aircraft maintenance for the duration. He resumed his business ventures spanning over 50 years in Grand Prairie. He expanded as a real estate broker and auto parts distributor. Johnnie was active in many civic organizations including a master Mason and member of Sam R. Hamilton Lodge #1031, Hella Shrine Temple, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and sportsmen's and gun clubs. He had been a member of First Baptist Church since 1946. He was actively involved in the growth of Grand Prairie from 1946 to 1975. Survivors: Wife of 68 years, Hazel; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Judy; grandson, John Scott and wife, Rachel; great-granddaughter, Christianna; great-grandson, Samuel; and brothers, Ed, Ernest, Floyd and Leland.
