Percival was born on January 16, 1923 in Oklahoma to Forest and Mable Percival. As a child, he moved with his family to the Imperial Valley and then to Visalia. He attended College of the Sequoias and joined the Navy in 1943. He served proudly in World War II as a Navy pilot aboard the U.S.S. New Jersey. After leaving the Navy at the end of the war, he farmed in the Central Valley and worked for Knudsen Creamery. In 1956 he moved his family to Delano, CA, and began his 30 year career with Anderson Clayton Co., managing cotton gins in Tulare County. He enjoyed reading, hunting, golfing and most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, of 63 years; his brothers, Lynn and Don; his daughters, Lynda Sorensen and Pamela Fabulic; grandchildren, Layne Logan and wife, Karee, Lynell Carlson and husband, Carl, Leif Logan and wife, Kami, Levi Logan and wife, Wendi, Joshua Fabulic and fiancée, Brandi Burns, and Andria Clements and husband Brad; and great-grandchildren, Kayti, Aaron, Kaylee, Austin, Kody, Ashlynd, Faith, Allison, and Logan. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma and June. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, September 14th, at 11:00 a.m., at Delano Cemetery. Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, September 13th, from 6-8 p.m., at Delano Funeral Home. Gene E.
