Rupe, John A.

John A. Rupe Feb. 18, 1953 - Feb. 17, 2007 John was born in Oklahoma 
on February 18, 1953 to Riley and Emma Rupe. He is survived by his 
"blue eye angel" wife, Alicia; daughter, Jewel Rupe of 
Bakersfield;and his three brothers, Jim of Bakersfield, Bill of 
Florida and Tim of Northern California; and three sisters, Bonnie 
Cummings of Bakersfield, Susi Collom of Arizona and Sandee Conklin of 
Bakersfield. John worked at BARC for many years. He loved Elvis and 
his music; liked to bowl and play electronic hand held games. He also 
loved all things Gospel, especially television and music. His sense 
of humor and social engagement always made us laugh. His wife, 
daughter, brothers, sisters, family and friends say, "We will miss 
you John and you will always be in our hearts." Memorial service will 
be held on Friday, February 23rd, at 6:30 p.m., at Calvary Full 
Gospel Church, 222 Circle Drive, Bakersfield, CA.
