All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Napa Valley Register Thursday, November 08, 2007 Bobby Sisler CALISTOGA - Bobby Gene Sisler of St. Helena passed away at Calistoga Garden Nursing Home on Oct. 20, 2007. Bobby was 79 years old, born in Boyd Township, Okla. on Oct. 31, 1927. Bobby graduated from Richmond Union High School in 1946 and after World War II, served three years in Guam in the U.S. Army Air Force as a Sgt. radar specialist. Before his retirement, Bobby worked as an appliance repairman with General Electric for 37 years. Bobby is survived by his wife Dolores Marie of St. Helena, who he celebrated 55 years of marriage with last Feb. 21; his children, Deb Sisler Smith of St. Helena, Cathy Ferguson of St. Helena, and Conni Sorensen of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Sarrah Hackett of Angwin, U.S. Army Specialist Kenneth Ferguson, serving in Iraq presently, and U.S. Army Pfc. Robert Ferguson of Ft. Lewis, Wash., recently returned safely from his second tour of Iraq, David Ferguson of Napa, and Kadie Rose Sorensen of Anchorage, Alaska; two great- grandchildren, Bradlie Catania of Angwin and Roarry Ferguson of Napa. Bobby is also survived by two brothers, Bill and Ken; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Maxine and Barbara, predeceased Bobby, along with his parents, John and Irene Sisler. A private family memorial was held. The family wishes donations be made to the St. Helena Volunteer Fire Department for all their excellent care when called.
