Nora went to heaven early Thursday morning Jan 11 surrounded by family that loved her dearly. She and her twin twister "Cora" were born Aug 25, 1926 in Oklahoma. Quite a funny lady, she will be forever in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family came to Phx in 1937 when she was 11. She grew up in east Phx and attended Baltz Elementary and Phoenix Union High School. She loved riding her horses all over the Papapo mtns and surrounding areas and being a stunt woman horse rider in westerns such as "The Outlaw of Poker Flats" where she doubled for Anne Baxter. She enjoyed collecting and displaying antiques in her little antique house, visiting with friends and family and was genuinely interested in how things were going in your life all the way to the end. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Jeff Hudson, grandson Toby Hudson, twin sister Carol Crawford, parents David Author Bishop and Georgia Ida Little Bishop, and first husband Frank Hudson. 6 other sisters also preceded her: Allie, Eura, Lucille, Myrtis, Estelle and Alma, and 2 brothers, David and Willie. She is survived by brother Ben Bishop of Mesa, loving granddaughter Tabitha (and Gary) Neal, great grandsons Logan Perry Neal and Nicholaus Gage Hudson and daughter-in-law Patty Hudson Sobol all of New Mexico. Many surviving nieces and nephews including Tami (and Mike) Cherrington, Johnna Crawford, Pam Bishop (all in Arizona), Jimmie Lou "Pete" Holmquist of Virginia and Carolyn Cornejo of CA. The girls are surely up there sitting around the table and playing cards by now. Viewing Sun Jan 14th 5-7pm. Service Mon 1-3pm at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W.
