Tucker 1920 - 2002 Robert Edwin Tucker was born in Oklahoma on March 1, 1920. The second of four children, he lived most of his life in the Kern County area. As a young man, Robert served his country proudly in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant during WWII. Robert was a hard-working man. During his long life, he farmed and worked in the oil fields, while raising two sons with his wife Loetta. He loved gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Loetta; a sister, two sons, a daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, who will miss him more than these words can express. He was a strong, proud man, loved by many and respected by all who knew him. You will live in our hearts forever Robert. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, at Autumn Oaks Funeral Home, 4030 Wible. Graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Unknown County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/okstate.html
