White, 83, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sanders Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wayne R. Williams, pastor emeritus of Parkway Drive Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Mrs. White was born in Indian Territory and moved to Lubbock in 1978 from Amarillo. She was a homemaker and a past member of the First Baptist Church of Childress. She married O.B. White in 1934 at Childress. He died in 1977. She also was preceded in death by two sons, O.B. White Jr. and Billy Ray White. Survivors include four sons, Clarence White and Eddie White, both of Amarillo, Jackie White of Savoy and Mike White of Lubbock; a daughter, Ethel Roark of Lubbock; two brothers, Arnold Bryant of El Paso and L.L. Bryant of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
