Betty was born in Oklahoma on November 17, 1930 to Eugenia Sargent and David Smith. She moved to California with her mother and has lived and worked here all her life. She worked as a front desk clerk in the motel industry and had some wonderful stories to tell of this experience. She has been very active in the local Women of the Moose, achieving the highest ranking possible for women in this organization. She was very proud of her affiliation in this organization and loved all her friends and family in the Moose Lodge. She had some wonderful times with all of you. Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother and recently her youngest daughter, Sharon Green, whom she never got over losing, and many of her good friends.
