Helen Stanton White

ALBUQUERQUE - Helen Stanton White, 79, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997.

A memorial celebration will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church 
in Tucumcari at 706 East Hines.

Mrs. White was born in Oklahoma. 

She was married to David Stanton for 48 years, living in California and 
Arizona. After David Stanton's death, she and her sister moved from 
Arizona to Tucumcari.

Survivors include her husband, Jake White of Tucumcari; two stepsons, Joe 
White, Jerald White, both of Tucumcari; two adopted daughters, Doris and 
Pearl of Tucumcari; a brother, Brian Trapp of El Paso; a sister, Bonnie 
Powell of Tucumcari; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
