All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Watson, Betty Joe BETTY JOE WATSON Jan. 7, 1927 - Feb. 5, 2007 Betty Joe Watson, 80, of El Centro passed away Monday, February 5. She was born January 7, 1927, in Oklahoma. Betty married Bill Watson on December 5, 1943 in Yuma, AZ. Betty was active following her retirement. She was an avid reader. Betty enjoyed spending time with her many friends. They played bridge, had lunch, went shopping, and celebrated birthdays together. Betty also enjoyed large family gatherings. She recently spent a weekend in San Diego with her 5 daughters celebrating her 80th birthday. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Brawley, where she was a deacon. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Watson and son-in-law Delfino Matus. Betty is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and Michael Kearney, Pam and John Neudecker, Cheryl and Rod Foster, Cathy and David Ross, and Tanya Matus; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Roy Harvey; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter on the way. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Brawley First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
