All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ouimet Bros Cemetery--Concord CA Norma Ruth Wandel Norma Ruth Wandel Feb. 21, 1924 - Dec. 12, 2005 A resident of Concord, Ruth passed, away peacefully in her sleep at her son's home in San Ramon. A native of Oklahoma, she was raised in Walnut Creek and lived many years in Concord, retiring to Shelter Cove, CA then moving back after the death of her beloved husband, Les Wandel. She is survived by her sons, Alan Mangini (Kris) of San Ramon and Mel Aberg (Toni Fiame) of Concord; sister, Pat Egbert; brother, Ben Wharton; aunt, Mary Bernd; eight grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ruth worked as a registered skip tracer and in the food and beverage business making many friends with her smile, caring heart and great sense of humor. One of her greatest joys was that she helped people find lost family members. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, talking on the phone, reading and doing crosswords. She will be dearly missed by all. Services will be held Sat., Dec. 17, 3:00 p.m. at Ouimet Bros. Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord, CA.
